Honestly? Trying to get 10k for a Z with a blown motor and he has the balls to say he has several options for $1k??
JDM BS? please.
If he was serious about 10k he'd have to pick his best motor, install it, then I'd inspect the shhh**** out of it.
With a blown motor, even a sweet cherry pie wouldn't get more than $4k out of me.
Not only do I have to find a suitable motor, but I then have to yank the old one, install a new one and trust that the rest is sound? After a paintjob? (could've been totalled)
No way. $5k is absolute top-dollar.
